PLEASE NOTE: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAD AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED FROM MARCH 17, 2020 TO JUNE 5, 2020, WE WILL BE CONTACTING YOU TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
In accordance with the latest State of Massachusetts re-opening guidelines set forth by Governor Baker, we will begin seeing patients starting June 8, 2020. However, before doing so, we are taking all necessary measures to keep you and our staff safe. This is new, uncharted territory for all of us and due to the measures outlined below your experience in our office may differ from your prior office visits with us. We thank you for your understanding and patience as we implement these changes in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE…
Call 781-769-9955 to let us know that you are here. (If the phone is busy, leave a quick message for us… we’ll get it!) Please stay in your car. When we are ready for you, we will either wave you in or we’ll call you back to let you know it’s time
THEN, UPON ENTERING THE OFFICE…
All patients MUST bring their own – and wear – a mask in the office – NO EXCEPTIONS
All patients will have their temperature taken with an Infrared thermometer
Only patients who have SCHEDULED appointments will be allowed to enter
All patients will be asked screening questions regarding COVID-19 symptoms and exposure. Any patients showing signs of illness or exposure will be rescheduled – NO EXCEPTIONS
PLEASE NOTE: All patients MUST contact their insurance provider and verify their INSURANCE COVERAGE (and get referrals if needed) PRIOR to their appointment. Be sure to have your insurance card WITH YOU upon arrival (We understand that VSP and/or EYEMED patients will not have insurance cards)
Appointments will be scheduled to allow for social distancing between appointments, which might mean that you’re offered fewer options to schedule your appointment
Changes in our OPTICAL SHOP
Any optical needs, please schedule an appointment with Pam. Call us at 781-769-9955 to schedule. Walk-ins will not be allowed
Changes for our CONTACT LENS WEARERS
We will no longer be processing contact lens orders through the office. All orders will have to be placed BY YOU on our website. (The only exception will be if you have contact lens benefits that require your initial order to be placed through the office.)
